Christ The King High School 50-Year Reunion

ATLANTA--Christ the King High School class of 1945 held its 50-year reunion Sunday, Nov. 12 at the 10:30 a.m. Mass at the cathedral.

Sister Marie Christine, GNSH, a former member of the faculty at the cathedral, was the guest of honor. Sister Christine traveled from the motherhouse of the Grey Nuns in Yardley, Pa. to attend the celebration.

The class of 1945 was the third graduating class of Christ the King High School and consisted of eight members. Two members of the class entered religious life as Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. Those attending the celebration included: Patti Conlan Castleberry, Frances Joiner Myers, Rose Kelan Ellis, Sister Mary Sue Thomas, GNSH, and Sister Frances Whitman, GNSH.

Mass was followed by an informal get-together in the parish library. Alumnae from the era of the forties joined the class of 1945 for a day of reminiscing and renewing old acquaintances.
