Rosary Rally Set

ATLANTA--The 24th annual Rosary Rally will be held Sunday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. with Archbishop John F. Donoghue presiding. The theme will be "Prayers for Priests and Religious and For Vocations."

Archbishop Donoghue will lead the rosary outdoors with the homily, Benediction and conclusion of the holy hour taking place inside the new Holy Spirit Church, 4465 Northside Drive, N.E., Atlanta.

The statue of the Blessed Mother will be carried by members of the Serra Club with Fourth Degree members of the Knights of Columbus serving as honor guard.

Bill Weller, a member of Holy Spirit Parish, will be master of ceremonies, and Father Stewart Wilber, spiritual adviser of the Rosary Rally committee, will assist at benediction. Msgr. Edward J. Dillon, pastor of the host parish, will proclaim the Gospel reading. Music will be by John Brandt, organist, and the parish choir.

The sponsoring committee invites the Catholic community, of all ages and ethnic origins, to come together for this annual October event honoring the Blessed Mother and imploring her intercession for the many needs of today's world.

Participants are asked to fulfill their Sunday Mass obligation at their own parishes.
