Parishes Aid CSS

ATLANTA – Two Catholic churches and a number of companies traditionally give hundreds of Christmas gifts to families in need identified by Catholic Social Services (CSS).

Each year the families are provided through the knowledge of CSS staff working with refugees, immigrants, crisis pregnancy services and the poor. Sacred Heart Parish in Atlanta puts a “giving tree” in the foyer seeking donations of toys, children’s clothing and other items for the families.

St. Andrew’s in Roswell has also given year after year to CSS as have employees of Coca-Cola, Southern Bell, Veterans Affairs, the Carcica Co., and the law offices of Paul Hastings.
