Brother John Gannon, LC, was among 39 young men who made vows of poverty, chastity and obedience at the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, Conn., on Sept. 3.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gannon, Dunwoody, his profession of vows was made after two years of spiritual formation at the novitiate.

John Gannon will continue his studies for the priesthood with the study of humanities at Cheshire. He will then study philosophy and theology in Rome. He is a member of All Saints Parish, Dunwoody.
