Catherine Paccasassi of St. John Neumann Regional School, Lilburn, and John Scott Allen of St. John the Evangelist School, Hapeville, received scholarships to St. Pius X High School for academic excellence awarded by the archdiocesan Department of Education.

The scholarship, amounting to $350 for each student, will be used to defray tuition expenses at St. Pius and is renewable once at the sophomore level. Each Catholic elementary school in the archdiocese could submit applications for the scholarship, one for a girl, one for a boy. The scholarship money is restricted specifically for the archdiocesan high school.
