| Archbishop John F. Donoghue was admitted to St. Josephs Hospital
in Atlanta the morning of May 3 with acute bronchitis and dehydration.
The 65-year-old archbishop, who has been carrying a full schedule of
activities, had difficulty breathing when he arose and was taken to St.
Josephs by Father Don Kenny, chancellor. His doctor said May 3 he
expected the archbishop to be hospitalized about four days.
His public activities have been restricted through May 8. Retired Bishop W.
Thomas Larkin of St. Petersburg, Fla. will ordain seminarian Daniel Toof to the
transitional diaconate in St. Peters Church, LaGrange May 5 in the
archbishops place.
