Toni Miralles Recognized

The Religious Service Award of the Georgia Association For Retarded Citizens has been presented to Toni Miralles, of St. Jude Church in Sandy Springs.

Mrs. Miralles is well known throughout the archdiocese and North Georgia for her dedication to working on behalf of children and adults with mental and physical disabilities.

For over 21 years, she has coordinated a church program and weekend retreat for children and adults. Each year she leads a special weekend for families of the disabled on Mother's Day.

The individual award was presented to Mrs. Miralles at the state convention of ARC held June 12 at the Atlanta Airport Marriott.
