The Secretariat for Black Catholic Ministry of the archdiocese has received a foundation grant to fund "Sharing the Wealth," an oral history documentary. The project will chronicle and exhibit stories and artifacts of the Church's evangelization efforts in the African-American community.

Catholics of the archdiocese, regardless of race, are invited to participate. Those who have been in the archdiocese for many years are particularly urged to bring stories of their experiences as Catholics and to offer memorabilia of parishes, schools and personal artifacts.
