Photographer Linda Schaefer was honored by the Catholic Press Association May 15 for a black and white photo appearing in The Georgia Bulletin in 1991.

The page one photo of St. Anthony’s parishioner Allene Sockwell, working on the serving line at St. Anthony’s lunch program, ran in November at the time of the annual Thanksgiving dinner at the parish. The CPA gave the award an honorable mention in the category of best feature photo in black and white and said Ms. Sockwell may appear to “be a senior citizen, but her expression says, ‘Kids come in all ages.’”
