Frank Beltran Editor Of Mercer Law Review

Frank J. Beltran, son of Mrs. Helen K. Beltran of Decatur, has been named the student writing editor of the Mercer Law Review. Frank is the brother of Father Joseph J. Beltran, pastor of Corpus Christi parish in Stone Mountain, and of Msgr. Eusebius K. Beltran, pastor of St. Anthony's parish in Atlanta.

In addition to attaining distinguished academic recognition by being elected an editor of the Mercer Law Review, Frank is the recipient of the Furman Smith Scholarship, was an Honor Court Justice, a member of both Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and the American Judicature society and has been named to the Dean's List.

While attending law school, Frank has been employed by the Adams-O'Neal law firm in Macon to do legal research and he will be working as a summer intern in Atlanta and this coming summer with the Georgia State Attorney General's office in their Civil II division.

Frank, the youngest of the Beltrans, was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1951 and received a B.B.A. in general business from the University of Georgia in 1973 where he met his wife Carol who received a B.S. in Speech Education. Carol is a former member of Christ the King parish and is now employed by the C&S bank in Macon. Frank is now ranked in the top 10 percent of his class and he and his wife are planning to settle in Atlanta upon his graduation in June of 1976.
