Morse Heads Commission

Jack D. M. Morse has been appointed chairman of the Archdiocesan Property Commission by Archbishop Donnellan. The appointment is effective Jan. 1, 1972, for a two-year term.

Mr. Morse was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was raised in South Georgia and attended Georgia Tech. He heads his own real estate business in Atlanta, Morse Realty Company, and is a member of the Atlanta Real Estate Board.

He has been a member of the Archdiocesan Property Commission since its inception in 1966. The Commission was formed to assist the archbishop in the area of future planning for the archdiocese.

Mr. Morse is married and has two sons. He is a member of Holy Spirit Parish.

The outgoing chairman is Peter M. Lynch, who served for the past two years.

Other officers of the Commission appointed were Carl Schultz, vice chairman, and John Wilkerson, secretary.
