Bulletin Work Starts For Cedartown Pastor

Father James J. Maciejewski has begun his duties as associate editor of The Georgia Bulletin.

A native of Buffalo, Father Maciejewski, 31, served as editor of his seminary literary magazine and is presently a master's candidate in English Literature at the University of Georgia.

Ordained in Atlanta in 1965, he has served as assistant pastor of Saint Jude's and Sacred Heart churches in Atlanta, Saint Mary's in Rome, and Saint Joseph's in Athens. He was appointed pastor of Saint Bernadette's Church in Cedartown in the fall of 1970, a post which he will continue to fill while working for the Bulletin.

He is a member of several civic and service organizations, among them the Georgia Conservancy, Friends of the Earth, the Lamar Society, Common Cause, and the Cedartown Kiwanis Club.

A regular column by Father Maciejewski begins with this issue.
