Father James J. Maciejewski has begun his duties
as associate editor of The Georgia Bulletin.
A native of Buffalo, Father Maciejewski, 31,
served as editor of his seminary literary magazine and is presently a master's
candidate in English Literature at the University of Georgia.
Ordained in Atlanta in 1965, he has served as
assistant pastor of Saint Jude's and Sacred Heart churches in Atlanta, Saint
Mary's in Rome, and Saint Joseph's in Athens. He was appointed pastor of Saint
Bernadette's Church in Cedartown in the fall of 1970, a post which he will
continue to fill while working for the Bulletin.
He is a member of several civic and service
organizations, among them the Georgia Conservancy, Friends of the Earth, the
Lamar Society, Common Cause, and the Cedartown Kiwanis Club.
