Mitchell Maloof, 36, a member of St. Joseph’s Maronite Catholic Church, died Sept. 14 at the Dublin Veteran’s Administration Hospital after a long illness.

Mass was said at St. Joseph’s Church with Msgr. William Haddad and Father Joseph Vistany officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Maloof had been in the grocery business all his life in Atlanta. He attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School, Marist High School and graduated from Smith-Hughes Evening School.

Survivors are sisters, Lorraine Maloof of Atlanta and Mrs. Al Dent of Lavonia, Mich.; brothers, Dean, Frank, Charlie and Joseph Maloof, all of Atlanta.
